Welcome Aboard!
I'm Captain Gary DeRosa
In 1982, I came to Michigan and have been fishing the St. Joseph River ever since. For the first 10 years, my time was spent learning the river and local lakes, currents, and flows, and how to navigate them. Next, I took time to learn fish habits year-round, where they go and what they do. Then, in 1992, I received my USCG captain's license and started Golden Eye Charters. After 46 years, I'm still guiding clients to some of the best fishing in Michigan.
